Meeting your storage tank sealing needs, the Rim Seal by Rim Molded Products assures you of complete lock on your liquid storage. Our unique product offers you a combination of strength, durability, flexibility and excellent weathering stability during extreme temperature changes. The Rim Seal also remains resistant to the abrasive and corrosive actions of many chemicals.
Sealed Protection
The direct contact of the Rim Seal to the inner wall of the storage tank provides the strongest and most dependable seal against vapor emission and chemical evaporation.
Built for Strength
The strength and flexibility of the Rim Seal come from its construction of durable micro cellular polyurethane elastomer, which is both abrasion- and chem-ical-resistant, making it far superior to ordinary rubber and other polyurethane seals.
A seal for all Seasons....
With in-tank temperatures ranging from - 50°F to 115ºF, this highly durable and flexible seal can hold up to temperature extremes, even with prolonged periods of direct contact with the stored chemical.
Choice of Installation
The Rim Seal can be installed onto existing or new floating roofs with single and double bladed seals or as a secondary seal.
